Photoshop
   Apparu en février 1990 pour plateforme Mac OS (Apple), puis en novembre 1992 pour plateforme Windows (Microsoft), le logiciel Photoshop d’Adobe est un logiciel populaire de traitement d’images, qui permet par exemple de déplacer ou effacer des éléments, de modifier les couleurs et les contrastes, de réaliser des montages, etc. Le dernier en date est Photoshop CS2, lancé en avril 2005. "Référence professionnelle de la retouche d’images et produit vedette de la gamme Photoshop d’imagerie numérique, il offre des outils de création inédits, des fonctions d’adaptation sans précédent et une efficacité décuplée en matière de retouche, de traitement et de manipulation de fichiers." (extrait du site web) Une version en ligne de Photoshop sera disponible gratuitement courant 2007. Cette version allégée offrira les fonctionnalités de base.
